This week one of the most anticipated movies of the year for me will open in theaters. Interstellar by Chris Nolan. In the movie a group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage. The images from the previews are, in a word, stunning. I look forward to watching it this Friday.

For this post I selected a few inspiring outer space images to get acclimated with the subject, which by the way is the inspiration behind Abduzeedo’s name.
