EM2N is a Swiss office formed in 1977 by architect Mathias Müller and Daniel Niggli. With the use of materials like concrete and glass, use strong colors in elements or architectural details, resulting in a balanced but bold proposal of work.
Daniel Niggli and Mathias Müller born in Switzerland in 1970 and 1966 respectively. Niggli studied architecture at the ETH Zurich from 1990 to 1996, also through exchange in the Rhode Island School of Design, in addition to internships in the office Todd Williams & Tsien Biliie in New York and Schnebli Ammann Ruchat in Zurich. Müller grew up in Nuremberg and Zurich, before studying at the ETH Zurich the same time as Niggli, spent two years in the United States. His main work was in the stage of renowned firm Herzog & de Meuron.

In 1997, Daniel and Mathias joined to create the EM2N office based in Zurich. In 2004 received the Swiss Federal Art Award. They began teaching as a visiting professor at EPF Lausanne and ETH Zurich. Work architecture with the aim of his works get its own style, impacting the public, no matter if people love or hate your job, the important thing is to never feel indifferent to their projects.
