ALS is an incurable disease which gradually paralyses all the muscles of the person who is suffering from it. Research funding depends solely on donations and currently there aren’t enough. That’s why ALS patients have decided to take action and go back to work to finance the research with their own salary. They are asking Belgian employers to give ALS patients a job which is suited to their limited abilities. For example: A job as a life drawing model or a museum security guard. They then invited the general public to join in and contribute to research by donating a part of their salary on workforals.be
