Today we will show an amazing loft in New York, a project by Andrew Franz. This loft is super stylish. Huge and beautiful open spaces, industrial elements, colors and materials, everything is unique and delivers a superb environment. The architect did a great job transforming the top floor and roof of an 1884 caviar warehouse into this contemporary loft. Certainly a great place to live.
Make sure to check out Andrew Franz website for further information about this and other inspiring projects. See you next week. 🙂
Description from the architects: in an 1884 warehouse, the top floor and roof of are reconceived as a residence with open entertainment zones and a fluid connection to the outdoors. A relocated mezzanine allows for direct access to the roof terrace above, and features an interior courtyard with a retractable glass roof showering the loft below with natural light. Embracing the building’s industrial past, a visual discourse between new and old is devised through insertions of modern materials along with restored or reclaimed materials.
We found this house at Contemporist.
