Like in the rest of the world, for most Bulgarians in big cities the definition of Christmas is quite clear. It means crowded shopping centers, bright advertisements, glowing Christmas trees, lots of decoration and presents. This, however, is not the case everywhere.
In the countryside, where the majority of people are elders, the holiday is different. It’s quiet and modest. There’s hardly any joy and decoration. For those used to the city Christmas it’s almost unnoticeable.
Then comes the realization – what if those who have the Christmas spirit surrounding them can share it? Even with someone they don’t know. Not with expensive gifts, but with the universal sign of the holiday – beautiful decoration.
To give people the hint we created a story presenting a solution through Econt’s services. We compared the holiday in Bulgaria’s second largest city – Plovdiv, and an average village. Then we showed what would happen if those in the city decided to send a part of their Christmas to the faraway strangers. They might receive a wonderful surprise in return.
The message is clear – Christmas is so much better when it’s shared.
