It’s Friday and we would love to come back to our weekly feature with FFFF. Our last FFFF was dated from 2016, it was nice to just surf around for a cool free font to share for you guys. For those who don’t know, FFFF stands for “Friday Fresh Free Fonts! We would like to share this week, the Blacker Text Family with two subfamilies: that comes in six weights from light to heavy, with matching true italics, for a full range of editorial and advertising uses. You should definitely check it out for your next project. The hero image is a remix from a picture by Elif koyuturk .

Design details have been fine-tuned in two subfamilies: the display variant offers tighter kerning, higher contrast and sharper corners for maximum effect at big sizes, while the text variant offers better readability and screen rendering with lower contrast. Each subfamily comes in six weights from light to heavy, with matching true italics, for a full range of editorial and advertising uses.
