Isometric art is definitely one of the most awesome styles in classic games. It might seem silly, but depending on the amount of details an artist puts on an isometric piece, you can get to see some really astonishing isometric pieces, like these below.
I’ve search for some super awesome examples of isometric art and found fine pieces from several artists. For me, these represent the awesomeness of this style, and I would definitely love to see some more games rocking it (like Satellite Reign – which is pretty much a modern Syndicate).
