Ubisoft Canada / Assassin’s Creed: Medicine

Created as part of the campaign for the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate video game, which is set in Victorian England, this poster illustrates that even if a lot of medical advances were made at the time, the upper classes were essentially the only ones in a position to benefit. The rich had the means to pay for doctor’s to treat them at home, whereas the lower classes had to go to overflowing and unsanitary public hospitals. Those who entered seldom came out alive.
