Art Direction & Digital Photography: Plastic Surf by Weston Fuller
Let’s kick it off with a project that mixes it up with art direction & digital photography by Weston Fuller. The series entitled: Plastic Surf, it’s a beautiful and thoughtful project illustrating our soon-to-be future with our water and the growing pollution with plastic. It’s great there are many initiatives out there that aim to reduce our everyday use of this material. Imagine surfing with this view, it wouldn’t be great at all. Let’s together ensure the future of our water.
Eerie Illustration Work for A Separate Reality
We have featured Alex Andreyev and his amazing and surrealist work so many times here on Abduzeedo. It’s pretty easy to keep featuring him, he is always delivering some incredible illustration work. What I love the most is just how introspective this artworks make me feel. The title of the series explain that quite well, A Separate Reality, 17th edition. Looks like we are 16 posts behind but that’s okay, check out the illustration set after the break and let us know what you think via Twitter and Facebook.
Introducing the 2017 Selection of the Unsplash Awards
Let us introduce the 2017 Selection of the Unsplash Awards, a celebration for everyone who openly shares their photography to the community. With over 50K submissions, it must have been such a colossal task to select the 13 categories. It’s very inspiring to go through the collection. It seems like every single one of them, tells a different story. Let’s sit back and enjoy the Unsplash celebration!
Graphic & Industrial Design: 36days Electronics
We have seen many alphabet concepts from minimal, illustrative and more. The one when we are featuring today is such a creative take on our everyday electronics. Designed by Brazil-based graphic designer Vinicius Araújo, we get to explore a new alphabet with electronics like a Apple, Beats, Nintendo and a lot more. Check out the full project on Behance.
Photography: Exploring Singapore Day & Night
I am slowly gearing up for our next adventure and hopefully we will be heading to Singapore this year or in 2018. One of the best thing I do enjoy before a vacation trip, one of the many things and it’s exploring a city or place through the people who have been there. Especially through photography, I feel that travel vlogs are usually boring (my opinion!) and more about vlogging about themselves than anything else. Let’s explore Singapore through the lenses of Thailand-based photographer Peeradon Ariyanukooltorn and his style is exactly the reflection of what I would be taking from cityscape, scenery, abstract architecture and even stride by shots.
Introducing InVision Studio: the World’s most powerful screen design tool
On a very quiet Wednesday, the awesome folks from InVision took the whole design community by the storm by announcing their latest game-changing screen design tool. Introducing Studio, a desktop app where you will be able to design responsive apps, sites from the start to finish. I am talking from screen design, prototyping, advanced animation and a lot more. Imagine having everything in one place where you can also collaborate, handoff and create a design system. We are pretty stoked about this over at Abduzeedo, we can’t wait for its release in January. Request your early access!
UI Inspiration: Some more Fresh UI/UX Interactions
We had a pretty good response from last week’s article about fresh UI/UX interactions. You guys are suggesting we should do this as a weekly thing? Let us know! We would love to get your insights! Let’s go again with another collection of UI Inspiration that I’ve come across on via Dribbble. Happy Friday, let’s keep the spark!
